Creating bootable TZM media from ISO image

This is the installation guide for creating bootable TZM USB for ISO image. A video tutorial of same can be found in Tutorials

  • Download the Rufus application and launch it with administrator privileges.

  • Click on the SELECT button to select the TZM ISO image to use.

  • Click on Yes to let Rufus automatically modify the settings to best match it.

  • Click OK when prompted to start format the USB drive.

  • Click CLOSE once the format completes and USB is ready.


Install VA - Hyper-V

This is the installation guide for creating your own Tranzman Virtual Appliance under Microsoft Hyper-V.

  • Launch Hyper-V manager and click on Create a New Virtual Machine. Give the machine a unique name.

  • Select Generation 1 option.

  • Select 2GB of RAM size. If using Dynamic Memory, make sure to set Maximum RAM to this size.

  • For the NIC settings, select an External Virtual Switch.

  • Assign two virtual hard disks as specified below.
    • 1 x 3GB HDD for OS Installation
    • 1 x 20GB HDD for Data

  • The VM configuration needs to be updated later to include the second 20GB Hard Drive.
  • Update ISO image with TZM iso file or leave it for later to install the operating system.
  • Click Finish to start the creation of the VA, and power-on the .




Download Tranzman installation ISO image or the OVA Template provided by Stone RAM Ltd.
