The Dashboard should now give you an environment with name as <b>Querying instances...</b> and IP address of your backup environment.
 
Under the Agent Column hit the [[File:Agent.jpg|border]] button , this should download you a Agent package (.bin file if Origin is *nix or .exe file if Origin is Windows).

Copy the file over to the backup server and install it.Make sure you either run the setup as administrator/root or as a user used to configure backup services.
 
Follow the instructions on the screen during install.

Upon successfull installation of the Agent on the backup server all the columns for the newly added environment should be populated like e.g. As shown in the below picture.

Recovery Files with Tranzman Appliance

To set up the migration type ("Personality"), switch to the Tranzman Appliance WebGUI.
Follow these steps to add backup environments and deploy agents for migration.

Agent Deployment Steps

  1. Verify the Dashboard has an environment named TZM-NAS-Connector.
    The Dashboard enables you to monitor appliance resources, migration state, service status, progress, and environment states.

  2. Click the + button to add the origin backup environment.
    Enter the IP, select the platform of the backup server, and click Commit.

  3. The Dashboard will show the new environment as Querying instances... with the backup server IP.
    Under the Agent column, click the Agent.jpg button to download the agent package (.bin for Linux, .exe for Windows).

  4. Copy the agent file to the backup server and install it.
    Run the setup as administrator/root or as the user used for backup services.
    Follow the on-screen instructions during installation.
