Tranzman Monitoring Overview

The Tranzman dashboard provides real-time progress and status for all aspects of the transition.
It includes environment status, appliance resources, service health, migration progress, and more.
Most admin operations are available directly from the UI.

Environment Status

  • Shows server name, IP, platform, backup product, image size, image count, and notifications.
  • Normal state: Resume icon.jpg
  • Querying: Waiting for agent response (dark blue icon).

  • Active: Agent connected and performing tasks (green icon).

  • Paused: No new actions assigned; existing actions finish before pause. Also occurs on agent issues or critical errors (black icon).

  • Hung/Failed: Agent not responding for over 1 hour (red blinking dot).
    Terminate hung processes or restart agent to resolve.

Progress & Migration Status

  • Progress Widget: Shows migration start date, switchover date, and transfer metrics.
  • Catalog Migration: Graph shows image migration states.
    Hover for percentage and image count; click for filtered view.
    Red segment = failed images (investigate, revert, or ignore as needed).
  • Duplication Status: Pie chart for origin/destination duplication.
    Click for details; updated by duplication rules and migration progress.
  • Clients Status: Graph of client states (Not Selected, Origin Not Connected, Origin Connected, Destination Connected, Destination Switched).
  • Config Migration: Status of config objects (Imported, Exported, Deselected).

Service & Resource Status

  • Service Status: Shows Tranzman service health.
    Click icons for logs, stop/start/restart services.
  • Resources: Filesystem, CPU, and RAM usage.
    Click agent name for detailed usage report.
