Shutting down the appliance can be done from a CLI session and you must be connected through SSH.
Step 1
Go to the support menu on the appliance.

Step 2
Select the shutdown option.

> shutdown |
The Appliance will now shutdown straight away.
Note:No warning prior to the command being executed will be show. So make sure that no migrations are not in progress.
