Following filters can be applied on images list:

* Origin, Destination and Policy Type drop down provides filtering based on configuration data.

* State and Category filters based on the manipulation status of image .

* Valid data can be entered on other text fields as a custom filtering.

* All dropdown list supports multi-selection filtering and the default is with no filter.

===Media===

The media related information is available under Views->Media

It provides information about the backup medias for selected backup domain.

Filters are available to shortlist the media as required

===Config Objects===

Config Objects, lists the information on all the available configurations that can be migrated

Shows the status of each object such as, selected, deselected, imported, not selected

Like other menus, Config objects supports filter as well. It is available under Views->Config Objects

The different State are:

deselected: The configuration item is excluded by rules in Selections.

exported: List the configurations available on origin

imported: list the configurations migrated to Destination

not selected: Configurations that cannot be selected or added in rules but are auto selected

selected: Selected as part of selections or through Rules.

Introduction

The Tranzman dashboard gives the progress status of various aspects of the Transition. It provides below details for easy reporting.

 • Status of Environments
 • Tranzman Appliance resources (CPU, RAM, Filesystem) usage
 • Service Status
 • Graph representation of Catalog Migration status
 • Config migration status
 • Clients status

Tranzman UI is flexible that it supports majority of Admin operations through UI.

Environments

Environments provides information about the added backup environment such as

 • Server name , IP address, Platform and Backup Product
 • Size of Images protected
 • Total image count
 • Notification area

A Resume icon.jpg is a normal state.

Querying

Environment status icon will be in dark blue shows that Tranzman is waiting for a response (Querying instances) from Agent for initial information. The state remains till it connects to an agent and perform the initial discovery.

Active

The Agent is active and connected to Tranzman Server. The agent will keep performing tasks at defined intervals. The status will in green color while active.

Paused

User can pause an environment to prevent the server being assigned NEW actions, however any existing Actions will continue to run before the pause takes effect. Tranzman will also pause an environment during issues with the Agent, or the Action failed with critical error. The issues must be resolved to resume the agent A change in the pause/resume state will be recorded in the Environment History Report along with its date and time. The status turns to black if the agent is paused.

Hung/Failed

The red blinking dot tells the Agent is not responding for more than 1 hour. This could be either the agent services not running, or there are hung processes (probably CURL). Terminate hung processes, and/or restart the Agent to proceed with the Transition. A hung agent will also raise an Alert.

Progress status

The Progress widget on the dashboard shows when the migration started, the proposed switchover date, and then a status bar to help determine if the switch-over date is achievable. It provides metrics of the peak transfer rates to understand the data transfer performance and to estimate the time required to complete transfer. 700px

Catalog Migration status

The catalog migration graph shows the current state of the images. When hover over a segment, it will display the Percentage (in terms of size of those objects in the catalog) and the number of images. Clicking on a segment takes to the filtered Images View to see the related images. Images in “red” segment requires investigation as they are failed during data transfer. The issues need to be resolved and the failed images must be reverted to re-submit. The images can also be marked as ignored incase the images doesnt needs to be migrated. The refresh icon refreshes the data on the status widget. 700px

Duplication status

The pie graph provides insight information on pre-duplication (Origin) and duplication (Destination). Clicking on a section of the pie takes to Images->Duplication(Origin) or Images->Duplication(destination) tab of the Images side-menu. The graph is updated initially by the Duplication Rules created on Selections During Transition, it shows the duplication status of selected images (duplication completed, In Progress, queued etc) 700px

Clients status

This graph provides the up-to-date state of clients that are discovered and processed for Host Management Below are the various states of clients information:

 • Not Selected Hosts that have been deselected
 • Origin Not Connected Selected hosts which Origin fails to connect
 • Origin Connected Selected hosts that the origin can connect to
 • Destination Connected Selected hosts that the destination can connect to
 • Destination Switched Selected hosts that have been updated to have destination as the master.

Config Migration status

Shows the overall status of ConfigObjects, object either need to be Imported or Deselected in order to complete the Finalize. The different states available are:

 • Imported
 • Exported
 • Deselected

Service Status

Show the status of different Tranzman Services. Clicking on each service icon shows the log information related to the service. The service can also stop/start or restarted from the logging screen. Clicking on the page icon on Service Status widget shows generic logs from Tranzman which are not related to specific actions. 700px

Resources

Resources provides detailed information about the following Tranzman resources.

 • Filesystem usage
 • CPU usage
 • RAM usage

A snapshot of report on the Agent usage can be viewed by clicking on the agent name. 700px
