Using Tranzman and TZM Recorder to Assess and plan a Catman Engagement

Once the local copy of Tranzman is running and configured to accept CATMAN Assessments, then the following series of steps can be followed to create Environment pairs which will be used for the Assessments.

Step 1

Create a pair of virtual environments to be analysed from the appliance's Web-Page.

Step 2

Depending on which OS version the TZM recorder will run on, follow the steps on the link below for Linux or Windows.

Step 3

After all data from TZM_Recorder has been uploaded to the relevant Virtual Agent, CATMAN Assessment can be initiated as depicted in the following link.

Step 4

Once all the steps have been completed, the Pre-Assessment page will refresh, and detailed information will be displayed to the consultant/user.

After each successful assessment, the Tranzman Virtual Appliance can be cleaned up by deleting all virtual environments, leaving it in a state were it can be re-used for any future assessments.
